Great Hearts Northern Oaks Family Calendar

We warmly invite our 2nd-grade parents to join us for a special morning to connect, learn, and get a closer look at what your student’s days are like in 2nd grade! Join us on September 23rd at 8:30 (2nd grade has specials first, so we have pushed back the time)

Over coffee, you’ll have the opportunity to visit with fellow 2nd grade parents and Headmaster Mitchel, hear more about what to expect this year, and learn more about 2nd grade and GHNO. You’ll also have the special opportunity to step into your student’s classroom and observe a little piece of their school day.



We hope this will be a wonderful time to ask questions, build community, and gain a better understanding of all that your student is learning and experiencing this year.

Please note that this is a parent-only event. Because our morning will include classroom observations, we kindly ask that younger siblings remain at home so that we can preserve the classroom environment for our students and teachers.

ADOPT-A-SENIOR-LUNCH is a special way to help make their final year of high school here at GHNO memorable! We are looking for families to "adopt" a senior by bringing them their favorite lunch to school.

The Class of 2027 (63 amazing seniors) will have 2 senior lunches this year: September 23 and April 28. **Please note you are signing up to sponsor a senior for both lunches.**

General Guidelines

Please dress reasonably & in good taste! We’re having fun, AND we’re still focused on learning in the classroom!

• Follow normal uniform guidelines for jewelry, hair, and makeup.
• No pen, ink, or drawings on the skin.
• No pop culture, logos, or politics.
• No hats or sunglasses.
• Clothes should be in good repair, with no holes.
• Clothing should fit neither form-fittingly nor oversized or baggy.
• Pants should be worn at the waist and should be no shorter than mid-thigh
• If you are not able to have each piece of your wardrobe in-theme, just wear that uniform piece and join in the parts of Dress Up Days that you are able!

Over coffee, you’ll have the opportunity to visit with fellow 1st grade parents and Headmaster Mitchel, hear more about what to expect this year, and learn more about 1st grade and GHNO.
