Dear Griffin Families,
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! Our clinic has undergone some changes that we are excited to share with you. Moving forward, the Upper School and Lower School nurses will be working out of one clinic, which is located in the Lower School building.
We have a new Lower School nurse this year, Kristin Casiano RN, BSN.
Returning to Upper School is Sarajane O’Bar RN, BSN.
Great Hearts Texas has updated its medication policy and forms over the summer. Please see below. We encourage everyone to please look over and read the new documents as appropriate. They will be available here on the website throughout the year for reference.
Please, if you have not done so, submit current/updated immunization records or original notarized affidavits of exemption prior to the first day of school. Students may not attend school without complete, up-to-date immunization records. Immunization records may be emailed to the nurses or dropped off at the front desk in either original form or copy. The school must have the original, notarized affidavit of exemption in the clinic.
